Relentless
One word that sums up the 2013/2014 Freedom Wrestling Team is they are RELENTLESS. The Patriots Squad has a very solid line up starting at 106 and ending with their heavyweights. Wednesday nights match against the tough Emmaus Wrestling team proved just that. All of the Freedom Wrestlers are as tough-as-nails and never stop attacking the opposition.
The match against Emmaus all came down to the final 112 lb bout against Freedom’s Dylan “Takedown” Brown and Emmaus Justis Walton. The pressure was all on Freedom’s Sophomore because the Patriot’s were loosing and needed Dylan Brown to win by a major decision just to tie Emmaus.
Looking at his head coach Brandon Hall for direction, Dylan explodes off the whistle and attacks his tough opponent from all directions while picking up take-down points. The time is ticking, the pressure is on and the room is quite, third period comes and the intensity increases the gym is loud. Dylan continues his relentless pursuit to accumulate points and give his teammates a win. Exhausted and running on all cylinders Dylan hits another 2 point take-down giving Freedom an 18 to 8 major decision over Emmaus…
Final Score Freedom 29 and Emmaus 28 (On criteria) … Congrats Dylan Brown Freedom Patriots Wrestler.
